
To promote exchange among Macau's charitable organizations and foster friendship through sports while gathering strength for public welfare, the "2025 Macau Charity Bowling Invitational Tournament," organized by local charitable groups, was successfully held on the afternoon of August 10 at the Future Bright Amusement Park. The event attracted eight teams, and all funds raised were donated to the Bosco Youth Service Network to support its daily operations.
The tournament was co-organized by Care Action Macao, CHENG SIN Association, and the Youth Committee of the Macau Construction Association, with support from the Macau Lions Club and Rotary Club of Hou Kuong, District 3450. The kick-off ceremony was officiated by special guests, including Zhang Kang, Director of the Coordination Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macau; Gao Chuan, Deputy Director; Lai Jiale, Second-Level Researcher; Jack U, Vice Chairman of Care Action Macao; Chan Hei In , Chairman of Ching Sin Association; Ip Ka Kei, representative of the Youth Committee of the Construction Association; Hoi Pak Man, former President of Rotary Club of Hou Kong; Ao Pak Chio, Chairman of the Lions Club Fifth Chapter; Leong Wai Ip, Director of Bosco Youth Service Network; and David Chan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee. The competition adopted a team format, with each team fielding four players. Each player completed two games, resulting in a total of eight games per team. After intense competition, the Rotary Club of Hou Kuong emerged as the champion, followed by Care Action Macao in second place and CHENG SIN Association in third. The individual highest score award was won by Fong Kor Kin from the Rotary Club of Hou Kuong.
The organizers stated that the event aimed to promote interaction among associations through sports while raising resources for public welfare causes. They expressed their commitment to exploring more diverse formats in the future to gather broader societal support for charitable initiatives.
