On the morning of New Year's Eve, I took Ran Jun's car to go back to my hometown. I drove along the gentle road between the rivers to bypass the snow in the mountains and took a shortcut. Driving nearly three hours to Majiabao began to climb the mountain on the snow road, need to add an anti-skid chain to the wheels, as the snow is getting thicker and slippery, we rarely talk to each other, it seems to breathe to pray for safe home... It took about half an hour to climb the 6 km mountain snow road and finally arrived home safely.<\/p>

When I got home, I quickly called for a three-wheeled scooter, hoping to visit the sick mother of Chang Xueqiao, a former student of Care Action Macao, before dark. She was in a coma and completely paralyzed in late November last year.\n\nRan Wen accompanied me along the route that Mr. Albert Lai visited when he first came to Gansu in 2009. When I arrived at the gate of The Care Action Macao Orphanage, I was shocked by the thick snow and asked, \"I can't go in such thick snow!\"\n\nThe driver said slope steep road snow swept away, Yesterday Chang Xueqiao's mom arrive smoothly, and sure enough to bypass the orphanage did see snow road, on the back of some flat road snow still, but slowly passed under the master cautiously, often learned doorstep soon arrival, when the crude sunflower bar \"fence\" has vanished, courtyard house big and bright, It feels like everything is changing so fast for the better... .\n\nRan Wen helped me up the steps into the main room, where everyone called \"Teacher Ran!\" Chang Xueqiao's mother stood in front of the heatable brick bed and asked if she knew me. Later, I said to Chang Xueqiao and Zhao Lifen, \"Uncle Lai of Care Action Macao is very concerned about your frequent thoughts and inquiries. Today, I will send my greetings to you and wish you and your family a happy Spring Festival.\" When they were happy, they also asked me to send their best wishes to uncle and aunt Care Action Macao. Chang Xueqiao was sponsored by Care Action Macao from primary school to graduation in 2010. Zhao Lifen was also sponsored by Care Action Macao from primary school to graduation from university in 2019. After that, she fell in love with Xueqiao's brother and got married. Xueqiao has been a doctor for nearly five years, providing economic and technical support for the treatment of her mother's disease. Lifen's children bring fun and hope to the family. Xueqiao and Lifen are today thanks to the support and encouragement of Care Action Macao for many years. I believe that they will move forward steadily in the direction of love.<\/p>

At the end of the visit, Xueqiao\u2019s family and many neighbors waved goodbye. Although the road of love is rough and bumpy, the road of human feelings will always be unimpeded.
